That is a very good question, indeed.

At the moment, heutagogy approach is not yet excpicitly and formally fostered and supported in schools yet. As we may agree, the heutagogy concept is not popular at a large/global scale. However, there are non-formal learners in Rwanda who exhibited heutagogical practices/investment with measurable impact. Some of these cases are under investigation and the report will be shared when ready (under open licences). I think fostering and supporting heutagogical investment would contribute enormously to the success of ODeL initiative in Rwanda.

Very good question, indeed.

At the moment, heutagogy approach is not explicitly and fornmally supported in schools yet, and as we may agree, heutagogy is not yet known at a large/global scale in academic and the education industry in general. However, there have been cases of individual non formal learners in Rwanda who exhibited heutagogical practices/investment that are currently being investigated. These cases of heutagogy in action and its social impact will be shared when the report is ready (under open licences). Also, formally fostering and supporting heutagical practices in school would contribute enormously to the success of the ODeL initiative in Rwanda.
